March First Friday

I painted at Lansdale’s First Friday in the kid zone at the Lansdale YMCA. Doing these live event paintings is the highlight of my month. I set up my easel along with a few samples of my work, prepare my canvas with the layout of the room before everyone arrives. Once people start to enter I paint them. It’s so much fun when they make their way over to me and I can point them out on my canvas. One young boy named Dylan told me that I’m the best artist he’s ever seen. That made me smile last night and I’m still smiling this morning.
