About the artist Amy Rims

I’m Amy Rims.

I host art shows to bring artists together.

No one creates in a vacuum.

Artists need a place to come together and share ideas.

Art is not a commodity, it is not produced to satisfy the wants or needs of a consumer

Art is a form of self expression,

not everyone understands what an artist is expressing because not everyone speaks this

                                               visual language

I want to put people together that understand each other

I want to be surrounded by people who understand me

If you ever need a male figure model, I would be interested. I’ve always wanted to try it and could use some extra spending money too.

  7. Lake Worth is fortunate to be sited as a community with an abundant interest and support for the arts. LULA is a program that will cultivate engagement from local artists as they learn Lake Worth is the community committed to raising awareness of the arts. The Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) is seeking to revitalize the downtown by infusing arts with other economic development efforts, including live-work studio spaces for artists, new programs for arts-centered businesses, and LULA an arts program geared to making this all happen. To be part of this opportunity please call 561-493-2550 or email tcoffey@lakeworth.org

If you ever need a male to model nude for your artwork, please write me. I’ve modeled nude a few times for a female artist, but would like to get more experience modeling for others. I don’t usually charge a fee because I’m trying to get experience doing this. Rick

I will keep you in mind. It’s going to be a month or so before I get back to figure work since I’m in the process of moving and my studio is packed up.
