B’Nai Mitzvah at the Curtis Center Atrium
Yesterday I was commissioned to do a live event painting at a B’Nai Mitzvah. I arrived before the ceremony and painted the ballroom. The Curtis center ‘s atrium is a beautiful venue with large pillars, an indoor water feature, open sky lighting, and a beautiful marble floor. The family I was painting for were some of the sweetest people I’ve met, the mother brought tears to my eyes during her speech expressing her love for her twins. Once the ceremony was over and I had the ballroom painted to my satisfaction, I began painting the family and guests. The dance floor was packed which was a challenge to get everyone in. Luckily, people were interested in what I was doing so they would come over check out my painting and pose for a minute or two.
I’m very pleased with the way this painting came out and I’m really happy the family liked it as well. It’s a lot of pressure being an artist trying to create something someone else will love but it’s very satisfying that I am able to accomplish this. If you are interested in commissioning me for an event, leave me a message and I will get back to you.
