Work in Motion

After two sessions of having models over in my studio, I am beginning to get to formula-ize some ideas. This Tuesday we had Jack do a series of 5 minute poses. I worked in oil. For some reason I couldn’t purchase stretchers at the local craft stores but I have a whole roll of canvas so I just stretched and primed it across some large wooden frames I had lying around. I’m going to cut these figures out and collage them on a larger canvas. We had him act out a rough story of actions. Well I’m not sure if anyone but me would call it a story but the following posts will begin to illustrate.
