I made it through Round 1 with this 11″x 13″ acrylic painting of the Bethlehem Steel Stacks. We were given the theme “casting” and then 2 hours to paint. I focused on the light casting different hues and shadows on the steel stacks. I even noticed a tree growing from one of the stacks. Round 2 will take place at the end of April.
