Lansdale First friday June 2011
Last night I created this painting of Lansdale’s first Friday celebrations. This is my favorite live action painting so far. The weather was perfect for plein air painting. People are starting to recognize me and remember me from my previous paintings, which is very exciting for me. I used my artistic licence to omit traffic, it’s amazing how beautiful things appear without cars. Love the finished painting! I purchased prints to always remember the magical First Friday when my grandson and I were “painted into the picture”. I really enjoy watching you create! Good luck and keep painting. Thanks! 🙂
