Thinking about the ocean
The ocean is vastly unexplored. I was watching Piranha 2 (of all movies to inspire me!) and got to thinking about how deep and ancient the sea is. There is quiet likely to be subterranean seas that have been blocked off due to tectonic movement, perhaps ancient creatures could emerge through cracks once in a while. These photos are lousy, sorry.
These were done with gouache on watercolor paper, I’m currently working on another one in this series. Maybe I’ll assemble it into something that makes more sense and take some better photos.
