For the Love of it

I finally gave this painting to the ladies featured in it for their wedding gift. I had to do this painting from a series of photograph and sketches. It’s a lot harder with out live models but I think it turned out pretty nicely. It was fun doing something with landscape. Lately I’ve been focusing mostly on figure, so this was a fun break. It also forced me to be more creative which spilled over into other paintings. When I gave this painting to my friend today, she seemed to really appreciate it which made me happy. I always get so nervous giving something I’ve made to someone, usually I fear they will think it’s corny.
