Julie

This is my favorite portrait from my college years. I forget how long this oil painting took my, perhaps 9 to 12 hours. At one point in my life I had a room filled with pillows dedicated to smoking hookah and this portrait hung on the wall. It was always amusing to speak to a friend with Julie hanging overhead pointing to them. Now that I have children the pillow/ hookah room is gone but the painting remains hanging in my bedroom.
