It’s funny when the first time you meet someone is the first time you see them naked.  Doug was an excellent model. He was able to sit for over two hours without a break. While my friends and I were talking he would take the chance to stretch his neck. At times he even joined our conversation which doesn’t always happen with the models. I’m pretty happy with the way this turned out. 18″ X 24″ is larger than I’ve worked in this past year with oil. It was nice to work on a stretched canvas this time rather than one of those store bought canvas boards.
